The Gemini facility - The Transfer Stage

The Buhler “en mass” conveyor system transfers the
commodity in accordance with FGIS and NOPA regulations and the facility is GMP-13 certified. With a design capacity of 1100 TPH, and a daily capacity of 10,000 to 12,000 tons depending on the commodity
and vessel configuration. The Gemini facility transfers your commodity 7 days a week and 22 hours a day. Crew change and maintenance are done in the remaining 2 hours.

The Buhler “en mass” conveyors are used to ensure
minimal commodity breakage during the transfer.

TTI employee completing paperwork, monitoring various
communication devices and the bulk scale system. Scale operators are licensed annually by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture.

The Compuweigh bulk scale system is used to ensure an
accurate accounting of the commodity transferred and is in accordance with the FGIS regulations for weigh.

The Gamet 6800L, is a proven workhorse that
takes a full cross section cut of the entire product flow. The Gamet automatic sampling system is certified by the UDSA and NOPA.
